Role in Carnival and how it relates to the history of your character: (Zagreb is known for being the center of various movements and demonstarations. As the seat of Political power in Croatia, Djuro is, of course, used to getting his way through trickery and manipulation.) Djuro works as an advertiser/pitchman for the carnival, his main role being to spread the word around wherever they happen to reside at the moment. In his pitches, he uses both his natural charms and his more supernatural ability to influence mood to his advantage: he simply needs to make eye contact and concentrate on a specific mood to do so. When he isn't announcing the arrival of the carnival, he advertises the more minor acts and narrarates (and mocks) the appearance of the freaks. "Come, see them~."

Djuro has always held himself to a higher standard despite being raised in a less than gorgeous setting. Although less than ambitious, he felt that his ablities could be put to better use than hard labor, and when he got wind of Mistique, he knew exactly how to use it. His hiring into the group may have been influenced by his powers, but...well, no one needs to know that.~
