Mad as Rabbits (Danylo & Nicoleta/Public)

Dimitrie only groaned in response and headed into the tent to see what all he had to eat that day before his mother decided he was no longer skinny. It smelled like Turk food-- and Romanian. Acceptable.

Emiliana immediately pulled him to a seat. "So do you have lots of money working for the mayor??"

"Uh... Well... I guess so..."

"How much?" She asked eagerly, eyes shining as if he were some sort of demigod.

"Uh... Some. Some money."

((AUSTRIANSSS---They just can't leave dem Romanians/Moldovans/Transnistrians alone. B) ))

Nicoleta began ladling soup into bowls. There was a lot of it but it wasn't just for their family. She would be expecting other Ragtags to slip in to steal a bite. They usually did.

She glanced back at the youngest with disapproval. "Emiliana-"

Danylo hoisted the little girl up and sat down in a nearby chair with her on his knee. There weren't enough seats, even if there was only five of them. They had to find ways to share places to sit.

"How about girls?" His eyes flickered up deviously. "Do ya meet lotsa girls bein' a big shot 'mayor's helper'?"

"Or do ya have a special girl in mind? Ya know, you're gettin' old.."

He was surprised how informal it all was compared to Mystique. There there were chefs, and menus (well for him and the main acts)... Not a Romanian woman with a soup ladle. And they certainly had more tables than just one. It seemed like he would enjoy the Ragtags more... Except for Cosim was there and also no whores. He kept his eye glancing to the door for either of the two. No sign.

Emiliana was miffed that she was pulled away from her brother, but she didn't mind her father one bit. Plus, it gave her a chance to yell.

The other Moldovan almost choked on his spoon when his father sent the sarcasm his way. It was only made worse when he was nagged at to get married and it seemed like the whole table waited for an answer from the oldest son. "Well... As a matter of fact, women love mayor's assistants. So of course many women want to marry me."

He shot a knowing glare to his father disguised as a laugh and a grin. "In fact sometimes I wish I could marry them all! Andreea, Ecaterina, Narcisa, Stela..." He trailed off and sipped more of the soup as Güzäl grumbled across from him. "And times are changing, Danylo, only women need to stay young."
