Role in Carnival and how it relates to the history of your character: ((Hyrcania has always been famous for its plethora of tigers.)) Although the region had earned a rather undeserved reputation for brutality, Faraz and his pets are fairly docile (for a 12 year old boy, at least) and rather spunky. Living most of his childhood in the vast forests of his family’s estate, Faraz is pretty much the wild child and does as he pleases, and has become fairly limber due to his constant exploring. Given his natural ingenuity, he will be quick to judge people and their work, pointing out flaws and offering to improve them. Faraz also loves to build things, so don’t act all surprised when a few tools go missing and you find a box fort next to the monkey cage.

Special personal items: He’s pretty immaterialist, but he does have a few pictures of his family before ARASH MESSED EVERYTHING UP. Like always.

Anything Else: Feed the tigers before him. They do all of the work, so they get first dibs. And by all that is sacred (see: not much), DO NOT pair him with his older, half-brother, Arash. They will bicker and their animals won’t help the situation in the least.

AU Background history: Life was pretty good for Faraz for a while: growing up in the mountains, relaxing with his baba, all a little boy could ask for…until that little “incident” Arash tried to pull alienated him from his already dishonored family. Just as broken-hearted as everyone else, and almost as angry, Faraz left his home with only the clothes on his back, some rice and bread, and a couple of young tigers he smuggled out of the country disguised as stuffed animals. A few weeks beforehand, Faraz had seen some advertisements about a homely circus that had passed through only recently. Encouraged, he caught up with them, signed on as “just another orphan boy (runaways tended to attract Social Services),” but discovered at the last moment that Arash had signed onto the same circus troupe. It was too late to leave and too far to travel back now, and so he stayed. It wasn't home, but it felt almost as nice...almost.

Shahnaz would be more of a mom to him than Mace ever was, sadly :( New mama is hotter At least he has someone to spoil him and take his side again. Sorry Arash, mama has a new favorite now. :)
