/sob look, an historically accurate musical about a sark moment in history. :'D TAKE THAT, ANASTASIA--

the musical version (based on the book by my favorite author B) ) of Crown Prince Rudolf's suicide at Mayerling and late 19th century Vienna, socially and culturally.

HERE'S PART ONE-- The opening of the Hofburg Theatre, the first place in Vienna to use electricity, (reflecting popular opinion, Count Taafe says, 'is this seriously here to stay?' to Rudolf's enthusiasm for modern technology), and you see the poor lashing out against the viennese bourgeosie, and Rudolf's sympathies =v= LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE FOREVER~
