Jeju Island is where many young Korean couples go for their honeymoonand is also the major center for Muism (or Korean Shamanism). Curses partly comes from Tanma (Jeju) becoming a kingdom to a province (Curses were shouted often at Goryeo.) And she's been slightly influenced by fortunetelers.
